Insurance Restoration Contractor in Flemington, NJ

Fire, storm and water damage rebuilt by one contractor who documents the damage, speaks the adjuster's language and carries the work through to the final walkthrough.

The situation

Why homeowners start this project

After a fire, a storm or a burst pipe, the repair itself is only half the problem. The other half is the paperwork: photographing the damage, describing the scope in terms an adjuster accepts, and making sure nothing hidden behind the drywall gets left off the list.

Most homeowners have never done this before, and they are doing it while displaced or living around the damage. Items get missed. Supplemental work shows up mid-project. The rebuild stalls.

We rebuilt a South Bound Brook home from the studs after a fire, so this is familiar ground rather than an occasional sideline.

What we do

Ariel's Construction & Home Improvement works with homeowners in Flemington and across Central New Jersey on repairs tied to a property insurance claim. We walk the property, photograph and document the visible and hidden damage, and prepare a detailed line-item scope of the repairs your home needs.

From there we work alongside your adjuster or claim representative. If the approved scope misses work we can see on site, we document it and submit it for review as a supplement rather than quietly leaving it out.

Once the scope is settled, the same team rebuilds: framing, roofing, siding, drywall, flooring, carpentry, kitchens and baths, through to the final walkthrough.

Important: we are a licensed general contractor, not a public adjuster. We do not negotiate your settlement or give insurance advice. We document the construction scope and build the repair.

What the work typically includes

  • On-site damage assessment and photo documentation
  • Detailed line-item repair scope
  • Coordination with your adjuster or claim representative
  • Supplement documentation for damage found during demolition
  • Emergency board-up and debris removal coordination
  • Structural and framing repair
  • Roofing, siding and exterior envelope repair
  • Interior rebuild: drywall, flooring, trim, kitchens and baths
  • Final walkthrough and punch list

Planning notes

What to plan for before we start

01

Photograph before anything moves

Document every room and every damaged item with your phone before cleanup begins. Those photos are the strongest record you will have, and they cannot be recreated later.

02

You choose the contractor

In New Jersey the homeowner selects who does the repair work. A preferred-vendor list from a carrier is a suggestion, not a requirement.

03

Expect hidden damage

Fire, smoke and water travel behind finishes. Scope often grows once demolition opens the walls, which is why documenting and submitting supplements matters as much as the original estimate.
